These started as promotional materials for FC3, a local comic convention. I rendered 4 initially and had people at my booth asking to buy them so I made a few more and still get commissions from fans wanting to see their favorite icons duke it out in a throwback style poster. Some of the resolution is wonky, these were pulled from my old site, the quality gets better as you go farther down.
